Reliability screening for Health Canada Application
Businesses looking to open Cannabis/Manawan stores, becoming providers or producers.
Health Canada is required for people handling cannabis for medical or non-medical purposes to complete the RCMP certified criminal record check. Cannabis License holders can operate activities such as possession, transportation, storage, destruction, research and development, and sale of cannabis to other federal license holders.
Reliability screening for Federal Subcontract Projects
Individuals who received Federal Government work contracts and are looking for a reliability screening process.
Process will go through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Criminal record check and the document control number (DCN) received after the fingerprint will both be valid for 1 year from the date the fingerprints were taken. The ORI number for PSPC is PQ80800 and this number allows the criminal record check results to be sent directly from the RCMP database to the Contract Security Program for processing which is required.
Reliability screening for Goods Control Program
Looking for sales and services or more types of business with the Government.
A security assessment application needs to be done, as well as a criminal record check. For authorized individuals and company owners choosing to submit a name-based criminal record check, PSPC’s CGP only accepts name-based criminal record checks from local police services or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Once completed, submit the results with the security assessment application form to the Controlled Goods Program.
