Once your order is placed, you will receive a case number by email within a day that includes application forms and instructions on how to proceed.
For the RCMP Certificate: Ink Fingerprinting is required. The physical fingerprints and application forms need to be couriered to our office. We will then digitize your fingerprints on the day we receive your package and send it to the RCMP. When we receive the results from the RCMP, you will receive a scanned copy via email. This process takes around 7-14 business days after we receive your package.
For CPIC Name Check: the package can be emailed back. You will receive a scanned copy via email. This process takes around 1 business day after you complete online packages.
Don't worry, you have two (2) options:
- Book an appointment online, select an appointment and make a payment. You will receive an online application via email to complete your selection and process your fingerprints on the day of your appointment.
- Make a phone call to our office (905-771-8890) to schedule an appointment and make your payment at the front desk.
Once the time is confirmed, ensure you arrive on time with two valid IDs (ex. Passport & Drivers License) and required/instructions letter from Immigration/Government/Police, other private organizations, or companies, if applicable.
After completing your submission, you will receive a fingerprinting process report with a contact to RCMP if you need information on delays/issues with your submission. The results will then be sent by the RCMP to the home address you provided or to a third party you gave consent to.
We are happy to help, but you will be required to go to the local police station where you reside in advance to receive a letter of reference. This allows us to fingerprint you for this specific purpose.
Once complete, you can call to book your appointment or select Book Appointment and choose Vulnerable Sector Check to schedule an appointment with a suitable time.
Ensure you come with two IDs and the letter from the police station to your appointment. We will obtain your fingerprints digitally and send it to the RCMP.
The final results will go directly to the police station to complete your Vulnerable Sector Check.
Every county has different policies and rules involved with applying for a police certificate.

For countries within the HCCH, the RCMP certificate is required to be Apostilled by Global Affairs Canada.
For non HCCH countries, the RCMP certificate needs to be authenticated by Global Affairs Canada and legalized by the country’s embassy.
